Legal Question in Employment Law in Pennsylvania

I have been on my works STD for an unrelated work injury for two months,,circumstances at home may prevent me to go back. Can I resign from work now or do I have to go back and give notice. I live in PA

Response by Lawyer Michael Kotik. Not sure what the policy at your work is with respect to leaving your job. I would suggest, going there and doing it face to face. Or at least giving them two week notice. You don't want to burn any bridges. www.LegalPhilly.com
