Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Pennsylvania

Hidden Keg

Were not allowed kegs in our apartment building. So we hid the keg all the way to our room. A few days later we got a fine. The camera never could have seen the keg. How can they fine us if there is no clear evidence.

Re: Hidden Keg

Other than your statement that you said you had a keg when you weren't supposed to. Besides if you read your lease closely they can probably inspect your apartment at any time. Or perhaps one of your fellow tenants ratted you out. Who knows.

So if you were asked on the stand "isn't it true you had a keg in your apartment?" What are you going to do, lie? Plead the Fifth Amendment? Can't do that I suspect this is a civil matter.

You broke the rules and got caught, so you have to face the music.
