Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Pennsylvania
Is it extortion to hint attorney general complaints?
I want 1 million for my injuries. I've contacted the attorney general and quality insights of PA, and I'm currently drafting official written complaints.
Or should I do this first, then tell them I did it?

Your question about “hinting attorney general complaints” is too vague for me to understand. However, if you are considering an action which may constitute extortion, you shouldn’t be taking that action.
As you have written to a medical malpractice forum, I will assume that you believe you were injured by substandard medical care.
You should reconsider any thought that you can pursue a medical malpractice claim without an attorney. This is a difficult area of the law for experienced trial lawyers and not something that a nonlawyer can successfully pursue.
Any steps you take, such as filing a complaint, without consulting an attorney are more likely than not to hurt your chance of pursuing a claim.
If you believe you have a case, I urge you start calling medical malpractice attorneys today. Medical malpractice attorneys will generally listen to your complaint for free. If they think you may have a case, they will invite you to their office to find out more details.
Generally they will not charge for this service, but, if they believe you have a case, will offer to take the case on a contingent fee basis, meaning you only pay them out the money they win for you, if any.
