Legal Question in Personal Injury in Pennsylvania

time between accident and payoff

Hi, Does anyone know if Pennsylvania has a pre determined length of time before an insurance company must payoff a claim filed against them in an full tort auto accident.I know a person has 2 years to file, I'm just wondering if there is a corresponding time frame for the claim to be settled. Thank You, Jon

Re: time between accident and payoff

There is a 2 year statute of limitations. During that time the claim can be negotiated. There is no set time period for the claim to be settled. If you do not already have counsel, please contact me if you would like to discuss your case.
