Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pennsylvania

We signed an oil and gas lease almost 4 years ago. The lease is recorded in the courthouse, but was never notarized. We have received and cashed payments on the lease. Is the lease valid without the notarization in the state of Pa.

So what. All a notarization does is prove that the person who signed it was that person. Its not required to make the lease valid.
