Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pennsylvania

I want to buy my friends house with cash and we do not want to hire an attorney, agent, or broker. What procedures must we follow to complete this mutually agreed upon transaction?

First off it needs to be in writing so when the deal goes sour the attorney you hire might have a prayer of winning your case not to mention that the law requires contracts for land to be in writing.

Second, do you know your friend is selling his house free and clear. For that matter does your friend.

A deal such as you are proposing doesn't necessarily mean that you'll have to pay a lot for an attorney, However, not having an attorney at least look over the deal will lead to high legal fees later.

If you have any questions feel free to contact me. The initial consultation is free.
