Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Pennsylvania

I was harassed by a supervisor

I reigned from my job as a borough secretary becaue of being harassed by a supervisor in the borough. He followed me, spied on me, spread rumors about a council member and I. I would like to know what legal action I can take. This went on for 3 months at my job.

Both federal and Pennsylvania state laws provide remedies for sexual harassmnet in the workplace. If the Supervisor harrassed you because of your gender and you were forced to resign as a result you would have significant rights to recover compensation for lost wages, emotional distress and possibly punitive damages. Even if the harassment was not sexual in nature you may have a cause of action unrelated to the discrimination statutes. The time for bringing employment claims is very limited, however, and you should , therfore, seek out an attorney without delay.
