Legal Question in Traffic Law in Pennsylvania

I was in an accident and was ticketed for driving at an unsafe speed. I paid the fine, but requested a trial. When I arrived for the trial, the state policeman pulled me aside and offered a deal to me, which I accepted and subsequently paid the penalty on the new citation.

My question is this: Will I receive a refund for the first ticket I paid?

Thank you!

You should talk to an attorney about the accident. Depending on the facts, your recovery might be a whole lot more than any refund on the ticket you paid. Feel free to call our offices. 267.639.3105.

If there is a difference in the fines for the two charges, the one you received and the one you had amended, you will get a refund from the district justice

I would like to know more about the accident itself
