Legal Question in Workers Comp in Pennsylvania

Short changed on pay

I returned to work on light duty. Normally I work in the field and it pays a 5% pay premium but my employer offered office work that does not pay the 5%. Am I obligated to accept this work or do I have the right to continue collecting WC checks since my employer cannot put me back into the field until I'm released from light duty? My title or position in the company has not changed.

Re: Short changed on pay

If you don't accept the lighter duty employment, your employer may be able to obtain a modification of your compensation benefits. For the 5% difference, you are better off accepting the office work. In order to fight a modification petition most attorneys charge 20% of the benefits.
