Seperating and wanting to date

My wife has left me and we have been seperated for approx. 3 weeks. We have not been to a lawyer yet, but when we get legally seperated can I start dating? How does this work?

You can date, but you can also commit adultery -- which could have drastic financial effects on your marital dissolution/divorce.
