Almost anything can happen to you if you missed the court date. A judgment can be taken against you in civil court, a contempt citation can be issued against you or a warrant can be sworn out for your arrest if it was a criminal matter. If it was a general sessions civil matter, you have 10 days in which to appeal the dismissal.
