Does Tennessee have a law stating when drug screening a medical review officer has to sign drug screen or notify the employee who has the test done?

Yes, but only if this is an employer that participates in the Tennessee Drug-free Workplace program. Under the rules of that program, the employer cannot take any action against an employee based on a positive drug test if the test is not confirmed and a medical review officer does not contact the employee to discuss it.
