Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Tennessee

Is this sexual harassment?
Is it sexual harassment for a boy at my daughters school to spread rumors about her that he is sleeping with her? She is only 11 years old and I find this sickening! He has even went as far as to send my oldest son a instant message over the computer to tell him also! Maybe i am an over protective mother but i find this to be insulting to her and her reputation. She is an honor Jr Beta society student, never in trouble, and has certainly done nothing to deserve such vicios lies spread about her. Thank you for you input.

You should probably contact the school administrator with the situation. In most schools any type of harassment is met with a zero-tolerance policy.

If this does not result in any remedy, you may want to consult with an attorney who handles education law.
