Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Tennessee

State employee discrimination and unduly terminated

Where can a state employee turn if they were lied to about position and terminated out of retaliation? I am being singled out and I am being treated unfairly just for being female.

The first thing you should do is file a complaint with the EEOC and your department's EEO office. You may have other rights depending on your status, for example whether or not you have civil service protection or are a member of a union. Most importantly you should consult with an employment law attorney to assess your specific situation.
