mother deceased but half of the estate beneficiary

my mother and sister are named the coexecutores in the will of my grandparents and my mother has passed away so does her half fall to her children or does the living sister get it all?

It depends solely on what the Will says as to how and where your mother's share would go. Usually, it would pass 'per stirpes' or to your mother's descendants. TN law says that if a Will exists, it must be probated. Is the Will presently in probate?? If it is not it should be. You must protect your possible interest.
