on the job injury settlement limitation

I forwent surgery on december of 99, is there a

statue of limitation on recieving a settlement

from employerinsurance company?

The statute of limitations in Tennessee is one year from the date of injury or one year from the last date your insurance company (worker' compensation) issued payment to you or to your health care provider.....this is a sticky area and you really need to discuss this with a lawyer.

It sounds like you have a substantial claim and you really need to talk to a lawyer. The insurance company will NOT tell you all the benefits to which you are entitled...

You have a one year statute of limitations to file suit from the date of injury or one year from the date the of the last authorized treatment or the time the employer stopped making payments.
