Legal Question in Workers Comp in Tennessee

Light duty

I am on light duty due to cervical herniation and have been for over 3 months and now all of a sudden my employer has doubled the production rate on this job and it is impossible to do. No one has done it and say they are crazy. Then I am told not to come in the next 2 days. Also I have to sign write ups for when I go see tne wc dr. Can they do this? I feel they are trying to get rid of me. Been there 8 years.

Re: Light duty

Has your doctor given you specific restrictions? Your employer can't violate those restrictions. If needed a request for assitance can be filed with the department of labor. If you need to discuss my contact information is at hhpfirm.com. I will be meeting with a client in Cookeville Monday morning but will be back in the office that afternoon. If I am not available one of the other attorneys or staff should be able to help.
