Legal Question in Workers Comp in Tennessee

Loss of Part of Finger

I just had the first part of my finger torn off in a machine at work. Do you have any idea what a settlement should be in a case like this. I just had plastic surgery to cut more bone off and graft skin from my arm. I am 62 years of age. Should I get a lawyer involved?

Re: Loss of Part of Finger

The amount you are entitled to depends on many factors such as: how much of the finger did you lose, what was your average weekly wage, can you go back to doing the same job you were doing, and many other such things. Yes, you should talk to a lawyer before considering a settlement. They will get you far more of a recovery than what you can possibly get from the insurance carrier. Sincerely, Bill Poland
