Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Texas
If my 2nd lien holder on my mortgage has charged off my balance due to non payment in chapter 13 can it be stripped in chapter 7? I have just converted from 13 to 7 but have not had my meeting with the trustee yet

Lien stripping is usually a Chapter 13 phenomenon. Regardless, just because you want a lien stripped guarantees it will happen. This is a question you should pose to your bankruptcy attorney. Your bankruptcy attorney will have a better idea if your specific set of facts make lien stripping possible in any scenario.
