Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

I am on probation and can not pay the restitution part is there a paupers law that will cover that.

Sort of. They cannot revoke your probation on grounds of nonpayment if you are truly impoverished and can't make the payments. However, violation of the other conditions can be grounds for revocation.. This includes making your required visits if your probation is supervised.

So you need to make sure you are not violating any of the other conditions of probation. Also you should demonstrate an effort to make some payment. Some courts may allow additional community service hours to replace fines. Another option may be to get the crime victim to agree to waive restitution.
