Drug posesion
my friend was charged with posesion of weed a quater of pound. From my understanding he has a aternity,but theirs a litte thing they wer cot by a undercover cop and he was not the only one. his other freind all ready had court. All i want to know what are the charges that he may face.by the way he is almost 18

Possession of less that five (5) pounds of marijuana puts that individual in the category of a State Jail Felony.

The punishment for the degree of Felony is anywhere from 180 days up to 2 years in a state jail facility and a fine up to $10,000.

If the individual has no prior felony convictions he is automatically eligible for probation.
