Legal Question in DUI Law in Texas

Suspended Driver License

I have a court order stating that my driver license is suspended for a period of 180 days dated 7/23/2007. When I went to have my license reinstated on 3/20/08, DPS said their records showed my license was suspended for 1 year. I have an occupational license which expired on 3/20/2008. How do I find out who is right? To reapply for another occupational will cost another $185.00.

Re: Suspended Driver License

Get a certified copy of the court's order and take to DPS. You will also need to take the DWI Education course and see after that whether your license is still suspended. DPS could have made a mistake.
