If a child lives in a different county from where the final orders have been filed, will the case be automatically moved to where the child now lives?

I assume that you're talking about filing a motion for modification after a final order has been entered.

No, the transfer is not automatic. If the child has lived in another county for six months, a party can ask that the case be transferred to that county (if a motion for modification is pending).
