Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

my dad and step mother are getting divorced and my 12 year old sister does not want to live with either my dad or step mother, a side from the divorce my younger brother (18 yrs of age) is physically and mentally disabled due to a car accident and requires much attention. and my other younger brother is about to have a child of his own mind you he is only 17, with all of this that is going on my sisters grades are starting to fall she is slowly going from a straight A student to a A B student. The reason she doesn't want to live with my dad is because he doesn't have a job or place of his own and is living with my grandparents and my step mother because lately she's been talking about committing suicide to her and tells me that she does not feel safe there she wants to live with me. i would love to have my sister live with me, my father has agreed its just my step mother who doesn't want her to. i guess my question is what must i do for my sister to live with me.(she lives 4hrs away)

Although this would not be an easy case, nevertheless we can help you get your sister based on Texas statute which states "the best interest of the child," and that may be you. Give us a call (210) 979-9777 so that we can discuss your case.
