Can a judge order Marriage Counseling for a couple without children in the state of Texas?

A judge can order counseling, but I doubt that such would be ordered if one party could convince the judge that it would be pointless. Call me to discuss this matter further if you care to do so. I am in Houston and am a Board certified Specialist in the field of Family Law.
