Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I live in Frisco, Tx my husband and I own our home which is paid, if we get divorced how can I keep my house since TX is a community property state. He will not give it up without a fight.

You compensate him for his "half ownership" out of other property.

Or you ask the Judge to make an order that Dad retains a lien on the home while you pay him $864 per month for the next seven years.

There are lots of creative ways to divide community property in Texas. Get a good lawyer.
