Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Precedent for damages in a case of bigamy

I am the victim of bigamy committed against me and the State of Texas. The defendant received deferred adjudication, fines, probation, community service, ''no contact' order, after I pressed criminal charges.

I am beginning a civil lawsuit against him for pain and suffering stemming from the bigamy, as well as injunctive relief due to documented post-sentencing harassment of me and my family .

How do I research cases in the U.S. to determine whether petitioners have received monetary redress from a judge and/or jury in this type of case?

Thank you.

Have you filed for divorce. This is where you will recover your damages.
