Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

What rights do I have against CPS?

I was recently investigated by CPS

due to false allegations by my sister-

in-law. The investigation of course

turned out fine, but now the CPS

worker wants me to take a drug test.

Do they have the authority to force

me to do this? Could I lose my child

if I refuse?

CPS can be a formidable enemy, but it is ultimately judges who decide issues such as these. CPS can threaten to bring a suit concerning the child if you fail to follow their directives, but that only creates a hearing before the judge. I would be glad to discuss the issues with you if you care to visit. If so, please contact me.
