Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Texas Divorce

Once the divorce papers have been filed with the court I understand there's a 60 day waiting period, can either part unilaterally decide to withdraw the papers within the waiting period. Once the papers have been filed can I move it out of the house without creating a problem for myself.

Thanks,

Bernie

Re: Texas Divorce

The person who filed the Petition can dismiss the case at any time as long as the other party hasn't filed a Counterpetition.

It really sounds like you need to find a good family law attorney to help you. A divorce with real property (the house) and possibly children is not really a DYI kind of thing.
