Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

my wife and I are separated and my daughter lives with me. She asked me if she could have her for the weekend and then she ran off with her to Missouri and is telling me she isn't bringing her back anytime soon. What can I do i live in Texas

Since it appears you have no court orders restricting her residence, or asserting jurisdiction; your options become more limited. Most likely an attorney may file here in Texas for divorce, asserting your residence as the child's residence; serving your wife for Temporary Hearing. If she fails to appear your attorney may be able to obtain a court order to produce the child. This is a complicated situation which is time-sensitive (you don't want her to file in Missouri first), so you should retain an attorney as soon as possible.
