Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Written notification for standard possession

My cousin was recently given a child support order for his 6 year old daughter living with her mother. The visitation portion of the order does not specify that he needs to provide written notification for the holiday visitations like Thanksgiving, Christmas and Spring Break. Should he have given written notification for the Thanksgiving holiday even though the order states that he shall have possesion in odd-numbered years? Is written notification only necessary in relation to his weekend visits only (over 100 miles away)?

Re: Written notification for standard possession

If the decree is silent as to written notification, then it is not required. It is always good to send an email verification though -- so that she cannot later complain about it. TCL
