Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas

I had to canceled my wedding 3 months before the due date due to the groom not wanting to get married after all. I gave several deposits and signed contracts. Can I request my deposit back? The catering is refusing to return any of my deposit back even though I'm giving him 3 months notice. What can I do?
