Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas

parental liability for 18-year-old Texas driver

If our 18-year-old daughter owns her own vehicle and has an automobile insurance policy (required liability only) in her name for which she is solely financially responsible, do we as her parents have any financial liability in the event she is involved in an automobile accident which is determined to be her fault?

No. Your potential liability ended on her 18th birthday.

You have liability if you let her drive your vehicle, but you have that risk whenever you let anyone else drive your vehicle.
