marrying a mexican

Hi! i am getting married to my fiancee currently here on a legal turism visa. when will she be fully legal as a US resident as my wife? when we get married? or after the green card comes? after we go on the honeymoon, will she be able to return with me legally without problem?

She gets her green card after you file for an adjustment of status and it is approved- which usually takes around 6 months if everything goes smoothly. You can send that in after you get married. She can come back with you after the honeymoon only if you do that in the United States. Do not leave the United States for your honeymoon for any reason.

She'll receive conditional residence after the green card is approved.
