Legal Question in Employment Law in Texas

My dad got fired over a week ago the store manager fired him because my dad got a new roll of paper for the sink in the mens restroom well thats what the store manager said. but i think he fired him for some other reason. Than the store manager went to go talk to my dads manager which is another person saying what happened but my dad said he didnt do nothing wrong than that same day the store manager called out my dad and told him to get out we dont need you no more (my dad said he sounded angry) just like that he didnt give my dad any papers or anything but he wanted my dad to sign some paper but my dads manager told my dad not to sign nothing. Plus my dad said that the store manager is the type of person that discriminates. My dads been working there since 1960 he's 73 yrs old. Do you think my dad has a case? What advice can you give us?
