Wrongful Firing?

I've been at a company for 27 years and now they want me to relocate. If i decline do they have the rights to fire me?

Re: Wrongful Firing?

Yes, unless they are singling you out for a relocation based on your age as a way to dismiss you. They can fire you for any reason whatsoever at any time, no matter how good an employee you have been. They don't need the reason, but if you refuse to accept the transfer, you can certainly be fired.
