Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Texas
i am an apartment renter in Texas. In my contract, it specifically states in an addendum, when my utilities are due and how much the late fee will be when its late. The owners are using a third party billing service and are dropping excessive late fees left and right. Manager says that they can do since the bill from this Utility management service is binding. but what about what is says in the lease contract? i thought that superseded a bill handed to me from the utility company.
