1. I had personal injury in an airboat accident in Louisiana, can I file a lawsuit in Texas where I reside.
2. Airboat Company don�t have insurance, can I sue the hotel where I picked up the tour booklet from hotel tour desk.

you'd be wise to get a lawyer..Louisiana has it's own laws..and if you contact a personal injury lawyer in Texas..he may associate with a Louisiana lawyer..and the statute of limitations may be one year..don't wait..

Here are the answers to your questions: 1. Probably not. The usual venue for a personal injury lawsuit is either in the county and state where it occurred or in the county and state where the defendant (or any one of the defendants) resides. However, if the case were filed in Federal Court and there were parties in two or more states, you may be able to choose the state more convenient to the parties. (2) Probably not. The ride operator is an "independent contractor" and the hotel is probably not going to be held liable for the negligent acts of an independent contractor.
