Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

I was at fault in an auto accident, with no insurance. The other driver's insurance company paid the damages and sued through a lawyer for 6,000 dollars. I could not pay and there was a judgement against me to pay the 6000 dollars or have my license suspended for 7 years. My license has been suspended for 5 + years, so I have served 75% of the suspension already. I have three questions. First, can i fight the lengthy suspension, 3 years seems to be the average suspension. No one was killed, and I wasn't intoxicated. Next, can I pay 25% of the assessed damages since I have served 75% of the suspension. Lastly, after the 7 years can my license be reinstated without paying the assessed damages.

You can always apply for the right to drive to and from work. I'm not sure whether you can challenge the suspension otherwise. You're responsible for 100% of the damages regardless of how long you've been suspended.
