Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

I rear ended the vehicle in front of me which had to stop suddenly due to uninsured motorist running stop sign in front of them. The vehicle in front avoided collision, however my vehicle rear-ended into the car in front of me. I only have liability insurance and my insurance company denied to pay for coverage. However, I have uninsured motorist coverage on my insurance policy, and I believe the accident was caused due to Uninsured motorist running stop light. Can I have a case that I can take my insurance company to court for bad faith, and not paying on terms of my policy. I am in Texas

I am a personal injury lawyer in North Austin.

If the uninsured motorist was the "proximate cause" of the accident then, yes your insurance should cover the damages.

As far a making a bad faith claim...maybe, it just depends on how much evidence you insurance company has.

If you were injured, call my office 512-478-8080 for a free consultation and we may be able to help you fight the insurance company.
