Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

In 2011, I received a letter from my then mortgage company that my home was to be up for foreclosure in September. I moved from my home. I then received a letter that my mortgage loan had been sold to a different mortgage company and that my new payments would start in January 2012. I contacted the new company and they told me the home was not foreclosed on. Payment notices were sent leading up to the new payment date. I called to set up a refinance plan with the new company in January and they then informed me that they didn't service the loan and it was sold in foreclosure in October 2011. I feel like there is some misinformation and deceit that went on. Is there anything I can do? If so, what? Do I have a case?

Possible but u may have waived ur rights...too often people complain about "ambulance chasers" ..personal injury lawyrs..but almost any personal injury lawyer would have talked to you when u had the foreclosure notice...free..only charge a fee if they accept the case and usually only if won...I would be willing to talk to u but doubt if I would accept the case now..
