Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

eviction of seriously ill parents
My neighbors are very ill. The mother is on 2nd battle of breast cancer. Father is serious diabetic and has hepetitis C. A large # of people have been trying to help them out. someone has sent a letter to their landlord complaining of the repairs that need to be made to the home. As a result of this letter, the landlord has evicted them. they have no money and their only car was wrecked when the mother was trying to drive herself to radiation. they will be homeless in 30 days. Is there anything they can do? An agency that may be able to help? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
