sue tenants for damages

There is substantial damage to our house, which has been rented out to four college boys who (in 6 months) have basically trashed the house. It is a five year old house that was in very good condition when they rented it. They have put holes in the walls, the house interior needs to be painted, the entire carpet needs to be replaced, they have not taken care of the yard--two $500 trees are dying, and to top it off the toilet backed up (6 weeks ago) and they never cleaned up the sewage on the bathroom floor. My hubby looked at the house. He fears that not only will the linoleum and the subfloor may need to be replaced. We have a one month security deposit from these tenants- $1300. If the tenants are over 18 can we go after their parents (these are rich boys driving new corvettes)? Can/should we go after the management agency for not screening these tenants, and not informing us until now? Apparently they have gotten multiple calls from the neighbors about the condition of the house and the behavior of the tenants. Any suggestions as we prepare to get money from these jerks to pay for the damage to our home would be very greatly appreciated. Thanks!
