Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

Reposessed Double Wide Mobile Home

My sister is letting her trailer home be forclosed on and it is sitting on land owned by my mom. We were told finance companies tend to drag their feet when it comes to getting it moved. The land is not connected to the trailer in any way. We've been told we can collect storage fees to encourage them to move it. How do we go about notifying them and collecting storage fees and how much can we charge. What steps are required and where do we begin.

The exact thing happened to me with tenants who were renting land from me. I contacted the lender and they paid me $200 per month until the trailer was removed.

Don't forget that you should put them on notice of the storage fees. So send a certified return receipt requested letter to make sure you can prove they know about the fee.
