Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

upkeep of private road

I own a private road, I pay the the taxes . other property owners have the right to use the road,this right was articlated in the ded that split the property. Now if i make improvement can I pass the cost on to the users of the road and conversly if the users of the road refuse to pay can I take back the right to use the road?

Probably not, unless that is provided for in the easement. I'd be happy to read the documents and make suggestions.
