Vehicles left on property purchased

We bought some property recently with several vehicles left by previous owner which has told she doesn't have the titles. Do we have the right as the new propery owners to sell the vehicles without titles? Most to junk yards, some that could be sold and fixed for use, by a buyer. Do we have to get a release of ownership from the previous owner, and new titles before we can do anything with the vehicles.

Yes. Those vehicles would be deemed abandoned. However, I would caution you to take down the vin numbers and notify the police of the location of the vehicles first.
