Legal Question in Traffic Law in Texas

Judge refused to hear testimony

I represented myself in Municipal

Court the other day on a traffic

violation. I lost but have found to

errors in the transcript. The error

I am concerned about is when I

asked the police officer to answer

a question relevent to his earlier

testimony that he was able to

''visually estimate speed'' the

prosecutor objected and the

Judge sustained. Do I need to do

anything special to get the appeal

judge to hear that? the

prosecutor claimed it was not

relevent but I think he was afraid

the police officer might blow it.

The other one was a motion I

made but was denied. After

reading the transcript I found an

obvious mistake with his call on

that one too. Thank you.

Re: Judge refused to hear testimony

You file notice of appeal. Upon receipt of the properly filed notice and bond, the case will be transferred to the county court (at law).
