I have separated from my husband but can't apply for a divorce for 5 more months as we haven't got one year marriage. What are my other options? Legal separation?

Your only option will be to apply to the court for pronouncement of a decree of judicial separation. It will probably only be worth your while to do this if other orders are required such as for maintenance or protection from violence.
