Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Utah

I am being charged with a class B misdemeanor because my Dog got off of it's leash at a campground (the official citation was 'dog at large'). I have an arraignment tomorrow and am trying to decide what to plead. I had zero intent to for the dog to escape. should I plead not guilty or no contest?

Ask for a plea in abeyance. This works as a guilty plea, you pay the fine, and if there is no repeat offenses for the period of probation, the case is dismissed.
