Can your employer legally make you stop taking a prescription medicine?? In this case the medicine being Methyphenidate (Ritalin) for ADHD?

No. Your employer cannot make you do anything you do not want to do. Example: If there are regulations that prohibit one from operating certain machinery because of a medication, then your employer can forbid you from operating those machines while using the medication. Your course of action would be to get another job.
